Teachers of students who are learning disabled, labeled as slow learner, or who struggle with reading will be able to get much use and benefit from the site Read the Words. As their sites states, “… an easy to use platform, that allows users alternative methods to process written information…To assist students with learning disabilities with their studies, by means of auditory learning and auditory processing.” The site is free and registration is quick.
The process is also as easy:
a) upload the text that you wish, such as MS Word, a website,
b) choose a Reader,
c) and listen to the rest, whether it is via an Mp3 player, podcast, blog, or website.
