One of my biggest embarassments of living in the dorm during my undergrad years was my required Zaner Bloser handwriting course. With huge crayon gripped in my hand and primary paper before me behind locked doors, I would practice writing “Zoom, Zoom, Zoom to the Moon.” Imagine the gales of laughter when the Engineer majors found this out!
Yahoo News writes about West Virginia lessening the requirements for handwriting due to the abundance of technology. Will we some day tell our children about practicing handwriting like our parents talked about the wood stove in the middle of the one room school house?
