		<description>Hi Deborah,

Promethean is an impressive, full-featured system. I&#039;m a student at MIT, and I was a little surprised about the steep cost of all classroom response systems (e.g. clickers). I thought that it should be available for free to K-12 teachers, so we built a system called Poll everywhere where a student cell phone is the clicker. As a former high school teacher, I realize many teachers and schools will not be progressive enough to use cell phones in schools as instructional devices (although see a Michigan postdoc&#039;s impressive blog on the topic at http://www.cellphonesinlearning.com/), however I like the ideas of equity and access in educational tech.

We&#039;re moving to a system in the next few weeks where it will efectively be free for K-12. Please check us out and let us know what you think.
