MCPS Portfolios… is it really that big a deal?

PPS has invested megabucks to provide teachers  with multimedia classrooms to integrate technology.  Teachers are selected for a multimedia classroom through an application process.  Teachers that have demonstrated use of technology and are interested in kicking it up a notch received awards.  It would be really nice if everyone could receive the awards, but that’s cost prohibitive.   [...]

Dan Mulligan SOL Word Sorts

Dan Mulligan, Simply Achieve, Inc., http://www.simplyachieve.com/resources.html, has SOL Word Sorts available for download.On his site, he relates that “These vocabulary cards will strengthen every students knowledge and understanding of key vocabulary from the VDOE Curriculum Framework.” It’s definitely worth a little look-see.
