Better late that never.
On Saturday, March 6, 2010, I attended the ActivVirginia Promethean Educators Conference. It was a well prepared conference.
I also had the opportunity to present with my B.A.D. Team partner Brian at the conference. The name of our session was Lowing the Teacher’s Stress Level.

Thanks to New York Zoos and Aquarium (Wildlife Conservation Society) and my supervisor for sharing this activity: http://www.buildyourwildself.com/ , I created a Wild Self. It was easy and fun. Take the time to build your wild self.
I am at Wilson High School showing teachers how to post to their blog, how to edit their post, how to add to their sidebar, create categories, and more…

The Inauguration will take place on Tuesday, January 20, 2009. The TSS and I have worked very hard to make sure that teachers and students are able to see this Historical Event. There are TVs in the building that have been set up to view the Inauguration. We have also set up some of the MCPS/Promethean rooms to view this historical event.
If anyone is looking for lesson plans or other activities for the Inauguration, please see the following links below:

Thank you Andree Carten (TRT at CHMS) for finding the websites.
The new school year has begun. I am looking forward to working with you as your TRT (Technology Resource Teacher).
We have more fun and exciting technology resources (hardware, software, websites, etc… ) available.
For example, we have a new document camera. It’s red!
They can be checked out through the Library. Training is coming soon!
Remember: You can find me in the Library or you can send me an email : deloris.eure-nutt@pps.k12.va.us
I am here to help you integrate the available technology in your lessons.
The IT department has furnished new books and equipment to help you with technology integrated projects. We have 3 new books, 2 new digital cameras, and 2 new video cameras!!
I’m really excited about the books as they are some of the easiest books to help folks get started with technology integration. Each comes with a CD that has templates to make the doing activities in the book even easier.
The first book is on using Kid Pix – which is a great tool that we don’t use very much…
The other books are from the Tammy Worcester Quick and Easy Series – one on PowerPoint and one on Math:
For additional ideas on technology integration using these programs, check out these sites:
If you need help with adapting one of the activities for your class, or if you would like help completing one of the activities with your class, please let me know. I’m here to help!!
