I am glad you are mature enough to realize that running away does not solve a problem. I the think the main character felt no one would care if she ran away. She found out otherwise, but if you feel loved you will be less likely to do something crazy.

This book was good and I really liked it. I can relate to what she was going through but I wouldn’t run away because I wouldn’t put my family through that.
