I support clean blogging; It is the wave of the future and send knowledgable messages to others.

# Michael Hopkins - October 3, 2008

I love the library lunch period. But lunch needs to be at least 45 minutes long. Can’t you make it that way Mr.Johnson

# danielle waller - October 14, 2008

I support what Miheal said, as well lunch is the best time to go to the library most of the time

..

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - October 14, 2008

Be sure to leave what you would like for the library to preview under the posts listed under “blog”.

# Mr. Johnson - November 9, 2008

The library is a great place to go during lunch; come on guys; I can’t give 45 minutes for lunch; that would reduce the instructional time in classes (unless we add time to the school day??) what do you think? adding more time to the school day??

# Michael Hopkins - November 14, 2008

Well I think 20 minutes is not enough for all of the students. Can’t you at least give 30 minutes for lunch.

# Michael Hopkins - November 14, 2008

middle schools get 30 minutes for lunch why can’t we get 30 minutes.

# Michael Hopkins - November 14, 2008

try rasing the school hours to 2:30 how about that.

# Jenn - December 4, 2008

If we extended the school day, the afterschool activities would stretch longer into the evening, meaning sophomores and above would be late for work, or not able to stay back at all. I’m glad the library is getting excellent books, though. :) Now we need to branch that out to the public library…

# Timothy Johnson, Principal - December 9, 2008

We have something new and exciting coming to our library really soon; hopefully before winter break. Wait until you see it….. It will be an excellent addition to our campus!!!!!

# Michael Hopkins - December 9, 2008

what is it Mr.Johnson.

# Sarah Arambula - January 12, 2009

As i remember are prinicpal in Cradock middle gave us only 15-20 minutes for lunch. We used to have a 30 minute lunch but that changed when they started to have alot of food fights during are lunch period. If people would like a longer lunch i would think that you would have to work for it, you just can’t get what you want.

And what is the new addition to the library, I haven’t noticed any addition and its been two weeks since winter break?!

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - January 12, 2009

Just turn around when you check out your books! In the corner you will see what Mr. Johnson added to the library. I hope I am able to allow you to “relax” in meadows and woodlands!

# sarah arambula - January 13, 2009

ahhh okay, i think i know wat you are talking about now. is it the glass with dif. things in it?

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - January 13, 2009

Think about the clue in my last comment…..it’s in the corner and I plan to add to this addition so that you can “relax” and “view” sights without a window! Remember that when a word is in quotation marks, the reader is not to read the word literally! Turn around and look again.

# Sarah Arambula - January 15, 2009

wait… is it the tv?!!!!

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - January 26, 2009

Yes, it is the TV. I hope to connect a DVD player to it.

# sarah arambula - February 21, 2009

o wow thats amazing… i like the chairs over there. one day i will have to check it out.

# CPL Hopkins(Michael) - April 6, 2009

I like the TV. But I think that the TV could use some more channels that kids watch more, like the Disney Channel or MTV2.

# Jasmine G - April 27, 2009

I think the libary is a cool place to hang out once in a while.

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - April 27, 2009

Thank you Jasmine. It is always a pleasure to have the students come use the library during their lunch period.

# Robert Hopkins - May 8, 2009

Mr Johnson I just want to say it is a pleasure to have you as principal and what a nice thing you are doing for the library.

# Khadijah Pernell - June 1, 2009

The new tv and couch are a wonderful addition to our library but I believe a security system like what Norcom has in their school library would be a better addition. We have many great books that get added to our library each school year that some students steal and if we get that security system we can enjoy every new book brought into our schools library and save you guys the extra money you spend on the same books each school year.

# Aaron - January 16, 2010

I LOVE the library. I’ve become a daily visitor during 1st lunch and I can easily say that Mrs.B is my favorite staff member in the entire school. She is incredibly helpful. She helped me find a book with out just the description of its cover. The couch is insanely comfortable too.

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - January 18, 2010

Gee Aaron, thanks for the compliment! I guess all those days and nights of reading the books I buy pays off! I am glad you enjoy coming to the libray. I am always trying to find ways to make it a positive place! I am always open to suggestions!

# Chali - April 5, 2010

There’s a third book to the Awakening and the Summoning. I forgot the author’s name but it’s coming out April 6th 2010 and I would appreciate it if you could add that to the library’s book collection. The 1st and 2nd books were great and I really want to read the third. Thanks

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - April 5, 2010

Yes the library plans to order the 3rd book in the Darkest Power series by Kelly Armstrong. It is titled The Reckoning. Hopefully it will be in by next week.

# Chali - April 7, 2010

Thank you, even though others may want to read it I feel obligated to say it. Not many of us have the opportunity to go out and buy the books and so the library gives us the ability to read them. Thank you again.

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - April 7, 2010

Thanks for your support of the library. If I bought every book I ever read I would have had to build a private library! The purpose of a library is to give everyone an opportunity to have equal access to literature and information. We have Ben Franklin to thank for this idea. A few hundred years ago only rich people had books and private libraries and the regular folk really did not have access to books. He inspired the concept of a public lending library.

# Rosemary Bakhtiari - April 13, 2010

Chali…the book is in.
