Thansk for the information. This is a great idea. I have been using this with my students. I have been recording them on the digital recorder reading the same passage repeatedly. I have seen the increase in the fluency levels as well as the accuracy and self correcting. I also see the students attempting with greater effort to decode multisyllabic words. 
I would love to do this with the poems and documenting the data. We just started this so this would be great. I will look for some of the authors in our library on Monday. I am anxious to talk further about this. Please contact me when you are at Victory.

		<description>I agree 100%.  Technology is the tool not the teacher.  When used correctly by teachers and students, technology can be a powerful integer to learning.
